Can I use my welcome discount during the Black Friday Sale?

Please note as per our Terms, only one promotional code per transaction is permitted. 

This means welcome codes during our sale period cannot be used together. 

Please note your store credit/gift card will be accepted.

Can I use my Sunseeker points during the Black Friday Sale?

Unfortunately, only one promotional code per transaction is permitted. 

This means that your Sunseeker discount code cannot be used in conjunction with our Black Friday sale. 

Please note, that your points will still be accumulated during this sale period.

Am I still eligible for free shipping on orders over $195 during the Black Friday Sale?

Yes! All orders over $195 will still remain eligible for free standard shipping.

Can I return items marked ‘final sale’?

Please note that items marked as final sale cannot be returned for a refund, exchange or store credit unless deemed faulty.

We recommend purchasing items with attention to our size guide and product descriptions. Our customer care team is available to assist with any style/sizing questions.

Can I return items purchased during the Black Friday Sale?

Any items purchased during the Black Friday Sale are eligible for an exchange or store credit only, excluding items marked ‘final sale’.

Sizing and Care

How do I know my hat size?

We strongly recommend each customer measures their head before purchasing their new hat to ensure they’re selecting the correct size. Just like shoe and clothing sizes, everyone has a unique head shape and size, which is why we offer a range of sizing options. We also urge customers to pay close attention to size and fit description on our individual product pages to assist with their purchase.

How do I make my hat tighter?

If your hat is too big, a hat filler may be an option as they reduce the hat size by approximately 1-2.5cm. By adding the filler, you can tailor the hat to fit your head shape and size perfectly.

How do I care for my hat?

When cared for correctly, our delicate yet durable hats are desgined to withstand the test of time.

The care guide for each product will provide tips on how to care for your new LOC hat.

Can I get my hat wet?

We do not recommend getting your LOC hat wet as there is a lacquer or stiffening agent applied to ensure the shape is maintained.

If your hat gets wet, we recommend patting it dry with a towel so that it does not lose its shape.

Shipping & Returns

Can I cancel my order?

Unfortunately, once orders have been placed they cannot be cancelled or adjusted.

In the event you do need to cancel your order, please reach out to our customer care team at and we will do our best to assist you.

How long does shipping take?

We offer standard and express shipping options for all domestic and international orders.

Shipping times will vary depending on your location and the shipping service selected.

How long will my order take to ship?

All orders placed before 2 pm AEST will be shipped the same business day.

Note, dispatch times may be longer during a sale period.

Will I need to pay taxes?

When placing an order with Lack Of Color, customers are responsible for any duty, taxes, and custom requirements like taxes, fees, levies, costs or expenses associated with each order.

Lack of Color is not responsible for any possible duties and taxes that may be applied by customs in the country where the delivery is being made.
